Responsibilities
• Create and maintain computerized database of supply purchase orders, paid invoices, goods delivered, product and raw material quality, inventory and future order scheduling.
• Plan and schedule procurement and delivery according to order requirement which includes preparing purchase order, delivery order, and any other documents necessary for import clearance with the relevant authority.
• Maintain and update the list of suppliers and their qualifications, delivery times and potential future development.
• Interview potential suppliers prior to contract negotiations, including visiting plants and distribution centres.
• Discussing materials, products and quality standards with suppliers.
• Evaluate current and new suppliers to determine optimal setup for supply contracts, taking into account costs, delivery lead times, product quality and available inventory.
