Responsibilities:

1.Review project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to understand lighting requirements and scope of work.

2.Analyze lighting plans and layouts to identify materials, fixtures, and equipment needed for each project.

3.Prepare detailed cost estimates, including labor, materials, equipment, and overhead costs, using estimating software or spreadsheets.

4.Present estimates to clients and stakeholders, explaining cost breakdowns and justifications for pricing.

5.Revise estimates as needed based on feedback, changes in project scope, or new information.

6. Communicate openly and interactively with vendors and customers to build sustainable relationships.

Qualifications:

1.Experience with lighting/electrical takeoffs

2.Experience with lighting estimation

3.Experience with value engineering

4.Proficiency with Bluebeam, planswift, Autocad or similar

5. Knowledgeable with Excel
