IVANPLATS (Pty) Ltd, a subsidiary of Ivanhoe Mines, is advancing the development of its world-class palladium-rhodium-nickel-copper-gold project in the Limpopo Province near Mokopane. This unique mineral deposit will be exploited using large mechanised state-of-the-art underground mining methods, deploying the latest technology to develop this “mine of the future”. Strata Control Officer X1 (Ref: IVP-G-2401)

Minimum Requirements:

Honors Degree (Geology / Geotechnical Engineering / Mining/Civil Engineering)

COM Strata Control Certificate.

Experience:

At least 2-3 years’ experience as a Strata Control Officer.

Key Result Areas/Essential Functions:
• Compliance and application of Sect 22 and 23 of the Mine Health and Safety Act.
• Conducting regular underground audits to ensure compliance to Rock Engineering
