BNJ Consultants is an employment company that provides Manufacturing Personnel across the UK. We have a great opportunity for Sewing Machinists. Successful candidates will be offered full-time shifts on a permanent basis.

BREAKDOWN FOR THE SEWING MACHINIST ROLE:
• Products: Sofas and chairs
• Salary: £12.45+ per hour. Pay levels differ depending on skill and aptitude - based on 39 hours/week.
• Hours: Full time, 08.00am - 16:30 Monday to Thursday. 08.00am to 15.30pm Friday. Opportunity for overtime paid at 1.5x.
• Immediate Start
• Location: Uddingston, Glasgow

DUTIES FOR THE SEWING MACHINIST ROLE:
• Follow operating instructions for the Industrial Sewing Machines: Lockstitch, Heavy duty machines.
• Must have experience on working as a sewing machinist in the textile industry

IDEAL SEWING MACHINIST CANDIDATE:
• Good attention to detail, and excellent hand-eye coordination.
• Previous experience in operating Sewing Machines: Overlock & Lockstitch - Furniture Industry
