As a Researcher Phytopathology you develop sustainable methods to identify new resistance mechanisms that have the potential to be implemented in breeding programs. You will work in the department that is specialized in research on plant resistance to pests and pathogens in vegetable crops.You are passionate about plants. You have a life or food sciences background, are knowledgeable in microbiology and chemistry and in the engineering part of the job. Your natural curiosity drives you to investigate tasks at hand. Based on your diagnosis you come up with creative solutions fitting situational needs. For you, a research project does not end with presenting results: you make sure your findings and solutions are embedded in clear protocols and implemented at the work floor.
