Responsibilities:• Research, design, and development of new tools or modify existing tooling to improve efficiency of the manufacturing process.• Design and provide a detailed drawing of tools that include a list of parts and assembly.• Create tooling standards by applying the knowledge learned approach to improve designs and decrease scrap.• Initiating new tool design methods/technologies to increase design efficiency and to reduce manufacturing cost of tools.• Driving the new tools trial and implement for mass production.• Work together with cross-functional teams to understand production requirements and provide solutions for jig fixture and design to improve the production process.• Coordinate with cross-functional i.e., new product development, production, production engineer, tool room to develop tooling, jig & fixture, and trial for hand over to production.
