Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Kwabenya for an Optometrist. The Optometrist will be responsible for conducting eye exams, diagnosing and treating visual problems, prescribing glasses and contact lenses as needed, educating patients on preventative eye care, and working closely with other healthcare professionals in the treatment of eye diseases and conditions.

Qualifications
• Doctor of Optometry degree from an accredited institution
• Active optometry license in the state of Ghana
• Excellent knowledge of eye health and diseases, the anatomy of the eye, and visual acuity testing
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to explain complex medical information to patients in an easy-to-understand manner
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and collaborate with other healthcare professionals
