Typical duties and responsibilities:

Assembling and Installing:
• Constructing, assembling, and installing hydraulic systems or components.
• Connecting hoses, pipes, and fittings to create functional hydraulic setups.
• Installing and securing various hydraulic components, such as pumps, cylinders, and valves.

Troubleshooting and Repair:
• Troubleshooting hydraulic systems and components both in-house and at customer sites.
• Identifying and repairing malfunctions, breakages, or leaks in hydraulic systems.
• Testing functionality of hydraulic systems to ensure proper operation.
• Measuring and cutting pipes according to specifications.
• Welding, assembling, and lubricating pipes as needed.

Technical Skills and Qualifications:
• Formal trade qualification as a fitter.
• Mechanical and technical proficiency in using hand tools, machinery, and diagnostic equipment related to hydraulic servicing and installation.
