FULL-TIME PROBATIONARY FIREFIGHTERS (2)

The City of Elliot Lake is looking for new Probationary Firefighters to join the Elliot Lake Fire Service.

Working in an Incident Command System, the Firefighter’s role is to protect life and property through

firefighting, emergency medical and other types of emergency response, often performed under

conditions that require strenuous physical exertion. Firefighters are also expected to provide

excellent customer service while supporting all 3 lines of defense – Public Education, Fire Safety

Standards and Enforcement, and Emergency Response.

ALL APPLICANTS TO THE ELLIOT LAKE FIRE SERVICE MUST:

1. Be legally eligible to work in Canada.

2. Be at least 18 years of age.

3. Be physically fit and mentally able to carry out the duties of a firefighter.
