Eastern Shore Cartage (ESC) Environmental, a division of the Municipal Group of Companies, is a solid waste company that services Sheet Harbour and surrounding area. We are currently seeking the qualifications and expertise of a Red Seal Truck and Transport Mechanic based out of Sheet Harbour, NS.

Job Summary:
The successful candidate in this position will perform a variety of tasks on heavy-duty trucks, large construction vehicles, tractor trailers and more. Hours of work will be Monday to Friday 6:30am -4:30pm.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
• Regular maintenance and repair for all transport trucks, including repairing and rebuilding components; diagnosing and repairing air brake, suspension, steering, and electrical systems
• Complete reports to record problems and work performed
• Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions
• Diagnose faults and malfunctions and confirm findings with supervisor to determine whether to repair or replace unit
