Comeau’s Sea Foods Ltd is seeking casual, full-time, permanent fishermen/women to join our crew aboard our scallop-harvesting freezer factory trawler, the Lady Comeau III.

· Year-round rotation

· Trip times/lengths vary. Typically, 14 days at sea, max. Rotational shifts: 6 hours on, 6 hours off.

· 7 days ashore

· Additional days/hours may be required

The day-to-day responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

· Active participation in the Comeau’s Safety Program.

· Follow all company policies and procedures, and participate actively in all training opportunities.

· Operate Automatic Shucking Machines (ASMs) and other scallop processing equipment.

· Follow directions from the officers on the vessel.

· Collaborate with crew members to meet production targets, ensuring production operates optimally.

· Hand-shucking scallops may be required on occasion.

· Deck operations may require handling gear, sorting scallops, and other directions from officers.
