Overview: To manage all aspects of the Quarry operation to ensure efficient production of a quality product whilst adhering to all safety and environmental regulations Responsibilities : Management of the operation including the development and management of the entire quarrying process Maintain optimum production levels and production planning Management of planned maintenance through maintenance controllers Budgeting and reporting on performance monthly including KPI’s Manage product quality according to specifications Management and development of all subordinate staff and quarry trainees Management of the Health, Safety and Environmental Programmes Assume Management responsibilities pertaining to Minerals and Petroleum Resources Development Act and other relevant legislation Management of the Health, Safety and Environmental Programmes.
