Tantalum Mining Corporation (Tanco), is looking for a Pressure/Industrial Welder (Red Seal/CWB Certifications) - Indefinite Term to join our dynamic team!

The Pressure/Industrial Welder will be responsible for the welding and cutting in all types of metals and alloys as well to layout, fabricate, fit, assemble, modify and/or repair all types of equipment and structures as required. Pressure welds both carbon steel, stainless steel and other alloys as required in high-pressure applications.

Principal Responsibilities
• Plans and performs work requiring a thorough knowledge of the welding properties of various types of metals, welding rods, welding heats, stress relief, shrinkage, warping and expansion.
• Sets and operates electric arc, oxyacetylene, air arc, TIG, MIG, and plasma equipment to cut, braze and weld various metals and alloys to specification.
• Interprets drawings, determines working procedure, selects and procures materials equipment and tools as required.
