A great mining company in KwaZulu Natal is seeking the expertise of a General Engineering Superintendent to join their team.

Essential Requirements
• Grade 12
• N4 Certificate in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
• Electrical / Millwright / Fitter / Diesel Mechanic / Boilermaker Trade Test Certificate
• 6 - 8 years’ experience in a coal mining environment

Duties And Responsibilities
• Analyse and interpret planned/unplanned maintenance results, assess deviation and initiate corrective action.
• Assess and report on maintenance efficiency and implement action plans to address problem areas/deficiencies.
• Team management, including the optimisation of manpower utilization and efficiency, conflict management and team training and development.
• Ensure conformance with budget and cost effectiveness.
• To ensure that mine procedures and standards are adhered to in order to facilitate a safe and healthy work environment.
