Blue Arrow are recruiting for a Multi Skilled Engineer for our client based in Uddingston.

Permanent contract: Dayshift Monday to Friday 7am-3.30pm

Salary: £40k - £45K DOE

Job Purpose

To maintain a wide range of production equipment as well as general maintenance and installation of new equipment.

Role
• Attend breakdowns on site with a rapid response whilst ensuring plant equipment and machinery breakdown time is minimised.
• Carry out reactive and preventative maintenance across the factory effectively and efficiently, either alone or as part of a team.
• Communicate unscheduled downtime to Engineering Supervisor and Production Managers and the corrective actions and root cause if identified.
• Identification of improvements that can be made to production lines or individual machinery or other operations.
• Ensure all health and safety and other business guidelines are followed.
