JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

· The Cost Optimization Specialist will be responsible for maximizing profitability through cost reduction/saving activity utilizing negotiation with suppliers and/ or developing new suppliers.

· Analyze supplier proposals, negotiating prices and terms to achieve best possible outcome for the company.

· Negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best price available in the market.

· Work together with company subsidiaries overseas in order to achieve cost reduction/saving.

· Monitor market conditions so as not to lose opportunities for cost savings or improved quality by being highly in sync with industry trends and market indices.

· Source out potential suppliers as needed in line with cost reduction activity

· Collaborate with other group members to ensure alignment on sourcing activities – suppliers recommended, cost and data sharing, and other industry-specific information.
