Your Opportunity:

In keeping with Alberta Health Services' Mission Statement and Values, and as an integral member of the Environmental Services Team, the Environmental Services Worker I (ESI) is responsible for routine cleaning, collection of general waste and upkeep of the facility as well as all detailed or special cleanings in areas such as operating rooms, pharmacy, etc. Must follow Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) standards. The ESI is responsible for performing other related duties as required. The ESI daily routines and approaches at work are to produce a clean, safe, comfortable environment for patients, resident, visitors and staff. The ESI must maintain the highest level of confidentiality and be respectful and compassionate in all interactions. The ESI participates in the training/orientation of new staff and performs other duties as required. These tasks are to be completed with minimal supervision, in a busy and fast-paced environment.
