Job Description

Wood (trading locally as WOOD KSS LLP) is currently recruiting for Senior Instrument Engineer (temporary role, approximately for 4-5 months) with extensive experience in the oil and gas petrochemical industry to join our team in Atyrau or Almaty, Kazakhstan (for KZ passport holders).

Responsibilities
• Responsible for design, specification and services related to control systems including basic process control systems, safety systems, control panels, analyzer systems, telecommunications, field instrumentation, and valves, мay also be responsible for advanced controls optimization etc.
• Under general supervision, independently applies advanced engineering techniques, makes decisions on engineering problems and methods, and represents the organization in conferences to resolve important questions or to negotiate with key engineers and officials of other organizations
