School Nurse

The School Governing Body of Fulton School is seeking to appoint a half-day school nurse to assume duty from

11 April 2024. Working hours 8am to 2pm. We are seeking a professionally qualified person who fulfils the following criteria:

Registered nurse with current registration with SANCQualification in general nursing and community/ occupational healthExperience in community health setting and experience of working independentlyWilling to take calls after working hours to support house parents or the principal remotelyAdvantageous: Dispensing license / South African Sign Language knowledge / HIV training

The successful candidates will provide oversight of medication dispensing in school hostels and deal with day to day chronic and acute medical needs of our learners. Will be required to respond to after hours emergencies.
