Introduction

Our client is looking for a dynamic CA(SA) / CIMA to join their growing business outside Newcastle, KZN. The ideal candidate has 3-5 years post article experience in an FMCG production environment with a strong aptitude for systems and automation.

Duties & Responsibilities
• Budgeting
• Bill of materials (BOM), product costing and margin management
• Oversee procurement of raw materials
• Manage import of raw materials, forex and customs clearance
• Stock control (raw materials and finished goods), including returns and credits
• Waste reporting and analysis (preforms, syrup, raw material usage vs BOM)
• Logistics and warehousing costs, develop cost to serve model (Transnova)
• Pallet stock management
• Salaries and wages (Payspace)
• Fixed asset management on site
• Cost control over operational expenses
• Overall management of the general ledger
• Analyse and present monthly management accounts
