As the Project Accountant, you will report directly into the Finance Manager and will be responsible for the governance and tracking of capital expenditure and the investment programme in Cornwall.

The individual will have strong financial disciplines, the ability to understand and challenge Operational / functional performance and deliver high-quality reporting into both the business and the Group.

This is a fixed term contract 2-4 years.

Key Responsibilities:
• Control of the governance process for raising of capital and the significant 5 year investment programme in Cornwall.
• Ensuring adherence to process and tracking of spend versus budget along with post implementation review and tracking of benefits realisation.
• Control the overhead expenditure analysis and control reporting. Work closely with budget holders to control spends and ensure costs are in line with budgets / forecasts.
