• Supervising daily operations of the sorting center (can be one work shift, one zone or a functional team), including scheduling, staffing, and workflow management.
• Monitoring and reporting on key performance metrics such as volume FIFO, processing time, on-time rate and error rates, and taking corrective actions as needed.
• Ensuring compliance with fairness, safety and security protocols, including the proper handling of problems related to people and operations, following SOPs and company policies.
• Taking part in recruiting, training, and developing team members, and providing ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure high levels of performance and engagement.
• Collaborating with other departments and stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient operations and resolve issues as they arise.
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to sortation center operations, tools, reports, trackers, equipment maintenance, and employee performance.
