RedCat Recruitment is seeking a trade tested and experienced MAINTENANCE ELECTRICIAN for a well-established company, position based in the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands area.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Grade 12.

Theory training in the electronic trade, equivalent to N3.

trade tested Electrician.

Basic training in AC & DC variable speed drives.

Basic training in PLDs.

Thorough knowledge and understanding of electricity, electronic equipment and the tools used in the industry.

Thorough knowledge and understanding of power, reticulation and process type of equipment, ranging from 12V to 11Kv.

Carry out daily plant checks.

Respond to production plant breakdowns and carry out necessary repairs in the shortest possible time.

Carry out repairs to motors, control equipment and other electrical equipment.

Accurately record all work done on job cards or on planned maintenance schedules.

Report all serious defects and / or defects which could not be repaired.
