Registered with the South African Nursing Council as an Enrolled Nursing Auxiliary

• Prior experience in an old age home will be an advantage

• Willingness to work shifts (day and night) in accordance with the requirements of the home

• Ability to identify, prevent and report medico-legal risks and adverse events within the home

• Basic knowledge of stock control principles

• Basic knowledge of infection control and occupational health principles

• Knowledge of the Scientific Nursing Process (documentation)

• Sound knowledge of nursing activities and procedures as per scope of practice

• Must be a team player with good communication skills

• Be able to render care to the elderly in a compassionate manner
