We’re pleased to present the opportunity to join Urenco as a Control Systems Software Engineer. Based at our Capenhurst site location, you’ll provide Control Systems Software Engineering input for the Tails Management Facility to maintain availability of the plant control system.

Main task work will involve improvement work & problem solving on the PLC/SCADA control system, varied items of package plant, multiple plant and information based networks and associated PCs, servers, hardware and software.

Generation and implementation of control related CMPs with appropriate configuration management. Development and approval of software specifications, completing code updates, testing, plant deployment and commissioning. Carrying out software updates for obsolescence and patching.

Implementing control software related operating procedures and systems of work.
