We have a position available for an Accountant in the Silo Industry located in Klerksdorp.

To qualify for this position candidates require: a relevant BCom degree with completed SAICA articles. At least 3 years relevant accounting experience. Advanced Accounting principles knowledge and experience (IFRS). Basic understanding of the functioning of an agricultural business. Great communication and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail.

The duties expected of the successful applicant are as follows but not limited to:

Financial and operational reporting/authorization: Scrutinize expenses for incorrect GL, cost allocations and CC and do correctional journals where necessary. Test accuracy, classification and existence of transactions. Handle queries from silos. Check POs done to external vendors for correctness and for approval in terms of delegation of duties.
