DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in installation and repair of rigging, and in hoisting and positioning machinery, equipment, and structural parts aboard ships.
• Supervises shipboard rigging as well as loft-rigging, assembling of docking cradle and assist Production Manager during docking and undocking operations.
• Supervises fabrication of safety nets, lifting wire, mooring rope and belts.
• Prepare and supervise heavy load lifting and shifting.
• Conducts inspection of all rigging gears such as wire rope, lifting belt, chain hoist. Shackle and wire hoist.
• Coordinate status of rigging job to higher authority.
• Analyze blue print lifting operations.

EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: Education:
• Graduate of vocational course and/or Engineering related courses

Experience:
• At least 5-10 years supervisory related experiences in a shipyard industry.
