To perform first-line maintenance on mechanical equipment to ensure plant/operations performance is maintained within normal operating parameters.

Minimum Qualifications And Requirements
• Trade Certificate in Fitting and Machining essential.
• Relevant experience in a mining/chemical environment will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge and understanding of plant equipment and processes.
• Knowledge pertaining to lock-out and isolation procedures.
• Knowledge of principles of hydraulics and pneumatics.
• The ability to follow technical manuals and engineering diagrams.
• Good communication skills with the ability to read and write in English.
• Practical and problem-solving skills
• Medically fit for the Base Metal Refinery (BMR) or Platinum Metal Refinery (PMR).

Duties and Responsibilities
• Conduct and attend to all mechanical planned and breakdown maintenance.
