Introduction

A large well-established Manufacturing company based in Carletonville is looking for an Engineering Superintendent.

Must have at least 7 years' working experience in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Relations practices competency is important.

Production Management experience is an advantage.

Duties & Responsibilities
• Responsible for the managing of the Engineering function at the Factory.
• Effectively maintain plant machinery and vehicles in such condition that the production operation is not adversely affected.
• Manage, train, motivate and support immediate subordinates to create an effective team.
• Monitor and control man-hours and costs in accordance with approved budgets.
• Develop a high standard of safety in responsibility and act as a “Responsible Person” to assist his Superior in maintaining a high standard of safety in the factory.
• Maintain effective industrial relations in the area of responsibility.
