The role of Chef/Cook is to run our staff canteen in a purpose-built food manufacturing facility in Middlesbrough. Typically working a day shift only (estimated 8am - 4.30pm but hours may need to flex to ensure optimum service levels are delivered) with an occasional requirement to work or cover absences on weekeends, this is an exciting newly created role which will give the right person the opportunity to create and manage a canteen menu whilst also supporting the New Product Development team with samples.

About the Role
• Develop and be responsible for a weekly canteen menu (approx. 300 staff members on site) to ensure breakfast and lunch items are available every day
• Manage stock, purchases and waste; making use of supplier samples, short-dated ingredients and working with our onsite teams to be creative and keep choices varied for our dedicated staff team
