Western Mechanical Handling is a family run business based in Callington that has been producing high quality bespoke machinery for the food and pharmaceutical industry for the last 45 years

Due to retirement WMH are looking for a Machinist to join our friendly team in our busy Machine shop.

Because most of the equipment we supply is bespoke the role is varied and interesting.

As a Machinist, working from drawings you will turn or mill components on manual or 2 axis CNC machines in readiness for fabrication and assembly, as a member of a small team you will be able to turn your hand to Milling, turning etc. as needed.

Skills Required
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to read engineering drawings.
• Be very competent with manual turning and milling.
• Ideally be time served or have equivalent experience.
• Experience with XYZ Protrak & Proturn preferable but training will be given to the right candidate.
