JOB SUMMARY

Supervises the successful coordination of all activities pertaining to the movement of vessel berthing and customer service in Antigua. Coordinates with the local Stevedores to ensure the requirements of Tropical Shipping are met while operating the vessels.

JOB SCOPE

Supervises nonexempt staff. No budgetary responsibilities.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Ensures vessel documents are properly prepared and notification is made to all government agencies of the

arrival of the Tropical vessels in Antigua.

· Manages the board and clear process for the vessel with the government agencies and local officials.

· Manages the customer service functions related to operations for Antigua.

· Delivers and picks up ship's documents as required, off and on site.

· Calculates wharfage and tonnage bills to be submitted for payment to local and federal government agencies.

· Handles clearance of all Tropical documents through US Customs and local authorities.
