Howdens Joinery is looking for a Yard Controller to join our ever-growing team based at our new purpose-built Raunds campus in Northamptonshire.

Reporting to the Transport Manager, you will oversee the daily monitoring of on-site trailers, furnishing precise information to all stakeholders regarding both inbound and outbound trailers. Additionally, you will ensure routine maintenance is conducted, and trailers comply with road regulations and are effectively tracked. Managing the hygiene in yard areas in alignment with Health & Safety protocols, you will also participate in period-end tachometer downloads and inspections for vehicle damage and interior upkeep. The role also requires the successful applicant to provide office cover for Transport clerks especially around European export processes.
