Chinook’s Edge School Division invites applications from qualified individuals for the position of Vice-Principal at École H. J. Cody School (Grades 9-12 with approximately 777 students) in Sylvan Lake effective the 2024-2025 school year. The successful candidate will be a pedagogical leader who possesses excellent interpersonal skills, a proven record of excellence in teaching at the secondary level, evidence of success in leading and encouraging professional learning, demonstrated abilities to work with a wide-range of community agencies, and a willingness to be involved in the extracurricular activities of the school. Administrative duties will include an active role in instructional leadership and all aspects of school leadership. Preference will be given to candidates with experience as a school-based administrator, and those who have completed or are working toward a Master’s degree in Education.
