We are looking for a time served maintenance fitter to look after our fleet of historic steam locomotives. This position is key to our operation and needs someone who is multi-skilled in the various mechanical maintenance skills.

This is a full time opportunity for someone to work in this niche and rewarding industry. This post will be mostly based at our locomotive running shed in Bo'ness, but the successful applicant may have to work at other locations along our five mile railway line as the situation demands.

While a good working knowledge of steam and diesel locomotives would be advantageous, it is not essential. We realise that knowledge gained in this type of work is often built on informal experience and we are therefore keen to hear from anyone who can demonstrate suitable skills.
