General Characteristics and Purpose
Leads, specifies, and/or coordinates the implementation of an engineering project. Responsible for meeting project objectives within quality, time, and budget targets, and for managing associated risks.

Representative Activities

Analyzes requirements with the project sponsor/customer, determines the strategy for the proposal, and evaluates the feasibility.
Leads or contributes to the development of the project proposal or plan to determine timeframe, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing the project, staffing requirements, and allocation of available resources to various phases of the project.
Contributes to developing/improving policies, standards, core processes, and evaluation principles.
Oversees technical and organizational management and financial aspects of the project.
Acts as the interface between the project sponsor/customer and the services involved.
