Position: Factory Foreman

Location: Knysna

About the role: Seeking a Factory Foreman for a position within a furniture factory based in Knysna.

Responsibilities
• Needs to be on the floor, overseeing and knowing all that is happening.
• Needs to know the products and how they are put together.
• Get stuff fixed.
• Report into Russel. On the floor more than in the office.
• Oversee all the departments.
• When quiet think where to use those employees who are not busy.
• Non-smoker Maintenance and upkeep of machines ensuring that they are kept in order.
• Orchestrate the orders and communicate with logistics and dispatch.
• Keep a check on clocking in cards and loadshedding.
• Enforce general discipline.
• Be responsible for all the products and contents of factory.
• Be in constant contact with suppliers and check up on them.

Minimum Requirements
• Experience as a cabinet maker a plus.
• Strong personality who will still take instructions
