Duties & Responsibilities

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

To lecture undergraduate and honours modules in Physics. Carry out research in one of the Departmental research focus areas: Astrophysics/Space Science/Astronomy/Material Sciences/Energy Storage.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Teaching:
• Facilitate and administer the learning process for students in physics modules presented by the North-West University at undergraduate and post-graduate levels.
• Review and design academic curricula.

Research:
• Carry out research and supervise postgraduate students.
• Preference will be given to Stellar Astrophysics/Exo- Planet research.
