The Head of World Languages hasresponsibility for leading their team of teachers to ensure thebest possible learning experience and outcomes for allstudents.

In fulfilling the requirements of the post, youwill demonstrate essential professional characteristics, and inparticular will:
• Inspire trust and confidence instudents, colleagues and parents;
• Engage andmotivate students;
• Continually strive todevelop the quality of students’learning;
• Use the student tracking andmonitoring process to advance student learning and enhanceprofessional practice in line with the school's aspirationsand priorities;
• Contribute to the schoolimprovement / development planning and promote the learningpriorities of the school SDP;
• Promote the wideraspirations and values of theschool.

Qualifications/Training
• Qualified to bachelors degree levelor above in the subject taught
• QualifiedTeacher Status

Experience/Knowledge
