Position: Permanent part-time (62% - 20 hrs per week) Library Assistant
Location: Balcarres
Job Purpose:

The Library Assistant is responsible for assisting in all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the school library in order to create a positive, welcoming and relevant centre of learning for all members of the school community.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

High degree of proficiency in database software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook

Ability to be flexible and adapt to change. Proven written and oral communication skills. Demonstrates courtesy and professionalism. Familiarity with library software is an asset. Manage confidential material and maintain staff and student privacy.

Qualifications:

A minimum of one (1) year post-secondary education in a field such as business administration or office administration or an approved Library Clerk certificate.
